Our flavour origin story
We grew up eating food that filled the house with spicy aromas that kept us hungry while it cooked. And we noticed that kind of flavour takes time, effort and a lot of ingredients.
We still love that kind of food. But now we’re older, and life’s a bit different. There’s uni. There’s work. There’s childcare. And there’s no time to roast and blend five different things before dinner.
That’s why we created Ata Rodo.
To make products that bring West African flavour to everyday cooking, without the lengthy process.

We launched with Easy Jollof because Jollof is iconic.
It’s a dish with pride, memory, and story built in. But most people don’t have the time to make it from scratch. Easy Jollof is a shortcut that keeps the flavour and skips the stress. Just open the jar, add rice and water, and let it simmer.
